On Friday November 9, 2012, Groupe Lacroix, the premier independent passenger transport group in the Paris region, launched a free mobile app available from Apple Store and Android Market.

With the quality of service offered to passengers always a priority, Groupe Lacroix decided to make life easier for users of the regular lines operated by Cars Lacroix, Cars Hourtoule and STAVO by offering them a free mobile transport app.

With this app, passengers using any of the above three networks can carry out the following actions at any time and from anywhere :

• check the arrival times of buses at a given stop
• conduct a multimodal itinerary search via vianavigo.com
• obtain a list of nearby stops and the arrival times of buses at a given stop
• view plans of the Cars Lacroix, Cars Hourtoule and Stavo networks
• bookmark certain addresses to speed up searches, etc.

Almost as soon as the app had been launched, Groupe Lacroix was already working on further improvements to the service to be incorporated into a more advanced version for the future.
